All our timber products are warranted to the original residential purchaser for one (1) year from the date of original purchase, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use and conditions. While we strive to maintain the highest quality standards, many of our products utilize materials where some color variation will exist from time to time.

These distinguishing marks should not be considered defects. Claims due to cuts, burns, pet damage, damage caused by contact with rough or sharp objects are excluded from this warranty.

CARE

Wood grains, by nature, will vary. They accept finishes differently. Some characteristics, such as ”cherry pits” and knots, give your furniture natural beauty and authenticity. Some of our wood furniture has been “distressed” which adds a charming, aged look and hides future small imperfections that may occur during normal use.

  • Maintain at least two feet between your wood furniture and home heating sources.
  • Prolonged exposure to heat sources will cause the wood to dry out. All finishes will fade over time. You can slow the fading process by placing your wood furniture out of direct sunlight.
  • Avoid extreme temperature or humidity conditions.
  • Use coasters under all beverages.
  • Use felt bumpers under lamps, statues, and vases to protect against scratches.
  • Avoid over spray when watering plants or cleaning glass.
  • Do not allow liquids to stand on wood surfaces.
  • Take special care with cigarettes around your wood furniture.

Dust regularly with a soft cloth. Do not over wax. It is recommended to wax only twice a year to avoid wax build-up. Use a good quality wax, applied with a clean, white cloth and wipe in the direction of the grain.

This leather has been treated to enhance stain resistance. It is more uniform in colour and texture and will have few noticeable range markings. Keep leather clean by dusting frequently with a soft, clean cloth or by vacuuming with a soft brush attachment.
